Washington DC & Amber's Wedding

We are so glad we had the chance to be there for Amber's wedding. She was married in the Washington DC temple and it was absolutely gorgeous! She had a wedding luncheon afterwards at the stake center by the temple. Later she had a garden reception at Eric's parents house. It was such a great day!
On Saturday we had a chance to go the Smithsonian. We were only able to visit a couple of the museums and then we went to Arlington cemetery to watch the changing of the guards at the tomb of the unknown soldiers. There was such an awesome feeling there and the kids loved it as well. Next we drove around and saw some of the monuments.
On Sunday we went to one more museum which was the air & space and then flew home. It was a short trip but well worth it all.
